This is a BIG fuzzy sinple ply, thick and thin, SELF-STRIPEING in green and cream and candy-striped in yellow and green mohair. The wool is Icelandic, the downy fibers are incredibly soft, but i spun it with the long fibers as well, which, though slighlty coarse, adds great texture. It still feels fine for a wearable project, though i think it might make a great handbag if crocheted very tight.

Throughout are vintage buttons, beads, vines, plastic seeds, DECONSTRUCTED VINTAGE POLKA DOT DOLL DRESS, red pipi-longstocking braids, doll hands and 2 lovely DUCKS!!

WORK IN PROGRESS: Oh No PIPI! 6-18 Update

Spinnin Good! The icelandic wool is very fuzzy and i carded it with lots of sparkle. I am stripeing this yarn with some mohair yarn i picked up at the thrift store. It's colinette but very vintage! The label looks 60's/70's ish. the colors are great though....mustard yellow and chartruse green. I am only spinning the "things" into the white icelandic which i am alternating with stripes of hand-dyed pale green icelandic/mohair that is spun with a bubbly brown novelty thread. Found this super cute vintage polka dot doll dress, red braids, buttons, lace, ribbon, sparkle seeds and little feathered ducks and am going to spin a GIANT SKEIN with them! I carded a huge sparkle batt with cream icelandic wool and rainbow wool. I will spin it simular to the way i did Prairie Dream: Big fuzzy single!
